Course Description:
This course is a professional basic course for cyberspace security majors. It introduces the mathematical knowledge in cryptography and provides the basis for subsequent applied cryptography and other cybersecurity professional courses. After completing this course, the following effects are achieved:
1. To enable students to understand the mathematical background and development history of cryptography, and to master the basic principles and calculation methods of applied cryptography related to number theory;
2. Make students have the basic knowledge of number theory and algebra, have a clear understanding of the basic theoretical knowledge applied in cryptographic algorithms, and the ability to analyze and solve problems;
